Lightbulb Alberta Meet for Spring Break?

Hey guys, I was thinking it'd be nice to put something together for mid-March, maybe on the weekend 12-14 or 19-21, depending on what everyone's scuedule looks like. I talked about it a few weeks ago, maybe going to Hooters or whatever there in Lethgridge, or a day trip up to Edmonton (for anyone not already in Edmonton). Just something to get a bunch of us together, maybe meet some new people.

Anyways if anyone has any ideas, or is up for this, lemme know - I was thinking just an informal meet, but if someone wants to organize contests with prizes & such, I dunno - I suppose a BBQ would be kinda cool - whatever, that'd be alright too

What I'm going to do is start a list of different options, that we can add to and such as we try to get this thing going - I'm really excited about coming up for this ...

Date

- Friday March 12th
- Saturday March 13th <--- I think this date makes the most sense
- Sunday March 14th

- Friday March 19th
- Saturday March 20th <--- Or this date here, since they're both Saturdays
- Sunday March 21st

- Some other time during the week ??

Location
- Lethbridge
- Calgary
- Edmonton
- Red Deer
- ???

Different Events or Ideas
- BBQ
- Go to Hooters, get wasted, and start a brawl
- Edmonton Day trip
- Day at the Races
- See a movie
- Hockey Game
-

that sounds very tempting, edmonton would be a good place to have it, or even red deer, we could go to the west ed hooters if u wanted. but very good idea, depends how the weather is in edmonton though, very unpredictable.

If I had a second car, I'd probably park mine for the winter too man - already this year, actually in the past 2 months, I've had over $6'000 of damage done to my car. And that's in addition to the $1400 of stereo equipment that was stolen in October.

I had a front-end collision that finally got fixed end of December, and beginning of January some time I had my car parked in a driveway and some drunk fúcker side-swiped my rear door, leaving a HUGE dent and a long paint scratch. I popped the dent out so it doesn't look nearly as bad, but I'm still pretty damn pissed.

Ummm ... anyways .... so are you saying you'll break out the truck and make an appearance?

Red Deer sounds good to me!! haha, If not here then Calgary or Edmotnon is fine. I don't know really what to do here because I've only been here for a couple months.

I'm in. For Edmonton that is.
Maybe even the hooters-brawl. Maybe. HA!
