Yeah, so I thought the meet thread was gettin' tired, so I thought I'd start anew for general ramblings since we CO7Gs seem to do that a bit. Just got back from droppin' the ride off at SKS and now I'm kickin' it in a white Focus ZX3 wagon. I kissed the 'Vic goodbye for 9 days and get to roll in the family truckster!! Guess that's what I get for doggin' my boy who just bought a Focus instead of the '03 Si. Life isn't without a sense of irony, it seems. For real tho, we gotta roll again sometime soon. Better organize! Deejai, good luck n' have fun this summer. See you when you get back. \/ peace!

So you gotta roll the Focus... hahaha... God has a sense of humor
I will keep in touch with you guys. Maybe if you get really hype and want to see a real 7th Gen Meet, you can come to the Mid Atlantic Meet. We had over 25, 7th Gens last year, plus other Hondas and show cars. This year is sure to be bigger. Its gonna be in Baltimore, MD August 2, 2003. Check out the Mid Atlantic threads. I will be there!
Ahh, the feel of a stock suspension, quiet exhaust, and no giant wing blockin' my rear view.... Having a rental isn't all that bad. Okay, I'm lying...it sucks!! But at least I can go fast over railroad tracks again.
"In a car you never have to think about, what will you think about?" 2002 Ford Focus Wagon....Ahhhh...
Pure driving excitement!
Deejai35: Where in MD you gonna be this summer? My sister and her fiance are in Baltimore. He's got a 2000 coupe and she just bought an 03 Si. I guess they're getting pretty heavy into the auto-cross scene over there.
I am gonna be in Aberdeen, about 20 minutes north of B-more. You should tell sis and bro-in-law to check out the Mid Atlantic 7thgen meet in August. Last year's meet was good 25+ 7thgens. This year is gonna be bigger.... its in B-more again.
Alot of peeps I know out there auto-x. It is pretty big.

So, what, our meet last Saturday wasn't real enough for you Deejai?? I see how it is. No, for real, maybe we can roll out to something this summer like that. But I'll be really busy and all that jazz. Anyway, just caught a nice hook-up today, so I thought I'd share...Getting a full HP Racing header tomorrow w/ hi-flow cat. Saw it on Ebay and the dude ended up being from Columbus, so I convinced him to sell it to me for $200 cash and he ended the auction early. Supposed to pick it up tomorrow and then drop it off at SKS for the install. Now, my car will be dentless and fast...well, fast-ER, I should say. Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2418917686
I'll let y'all know how it works out.
Thats a pretty good deal. I can't do full race header, I need my catalytic converter. OH BTW... theres a guy in the marketplace selling a civic oem cover for $40 + shipping. I know HYPR DRV was looking for one.. I think.

Deejai: Do you need your cat cuz' of emissions tests? Just curious. Yeah, I hate to replace the OEM cat but I hear the HP full w/ hi-flow cat is the best way to go for our cars. EX, anyway. But yeah, good deal I thought cuz' it's brand new. Travis (seller) is about to buy a WRX so no need for it anymore and never had the chance to put it on his Civic. I hope SKS doesn't charge me big time for the install, although they are giving me a huge break on my deductible for the hail damage. I have a $500 deductible but he said I'd only have to pay half!! Hence, extra cash to buy a new header. BTW: Good lookin' out on that car cover D. PMd the guy for pics, so maybe I can hook that up too!
"Ya slackin on your pimpin, turn it up,
See the money ain't a thang."
Yeah... Missouri emissions ownz me! At least for now, until I can change over to Ohio. I guess a hi-flow cat wouldn't be bad though. I hope all turns out well with your car, and the cover falls through. I saw the thread and I remembered you wanting one... so... just thought I'd look out for you.
