hey sean, blow me. Anyways, I say we have it where we did last year. Its a nice country club type thing in sunbury, secluded, and no one bothers us, plenty of parking, shelter, grill, everything. We then could cruise to easton or some such area, and finish the day with like mini car show. I refuse to put the whole thing together again this year, as it sucked last year with just one person organizing it,not really sucked, just un-organized. I say early june would be a good time, the only person that still hangs around from last years group is Mike, he'll give some input. Anyways, its $30 to rent the place for the day, and its back in the woods, everyone seemed to like it last year, but this year we cant leave and have people show up as we are off taking pictures, LOL
I'm up for whatever, whenever. I haven't done a lot to my car since last year though (and the weather seems out to get me.... anyone else get caught in that nasty hail storm last night!? ) Got some springs to install, so if anyone's up for it I have the project to keep us busy

mike...that hailstorm was nasty round here wasn't it. i now have over a dozen nickel sized dings and dents. not cool. i called my insurance company...they said they'd get back to me on my claim. grr.
As long as it is before OSU lets out, i am sure i will be there.... On a side note, Besides for SKS and Passen for installing springs, anyone know a local person that does a good price or hell, does some one have the capabilities and know how to do it.

Thats sucks... I hope it all turns out alright. Look on the bright side... maybe you can get that carbon fiber hood you have been thinking about.
I got caught in the big hailstorm from autumn down here... I got the money from insurance and took my car to the Dent Doctor over at Kenny and Henderson. Car looked brand new afterwards, and he was done with it in about two hours. Highly recommended.

My vic's up in Cleveland till the summertime. Actually, I keep seeing you all over the place. I last saw you on 71-N at about 161 last Friday, about 6:30PM. I was in said Geo Prizm driving to Cleveland for Easter. Car looked good, as always.

Man.. I wish we could do this on a sunday, I'm more available then. I have parts to swap/trade/whatever.
I need some stuff too. I'm lookin for a Rallye Red rear bumper, front struts (factory or otherwise), springs, and a few other goodies.

Hey yo, lemmeno what kinda of a date you guys are thinking of doin this meet. I've seen y'all on these boards for a couple weeks but like to put a face to the slick handles and funny car banter. I got NAILED in that hail storm we had in November and haven't quite recovered yet. My insurance will cover it and no rate increase but still have to pay the $500 deductible. So I've been saving for that. Needless to say, I've been keeping realtively low key (not wanting to show the car off) until those 25-30 dents get fixed. Got the estimate at $3090. Thinking about having SKS do the work, but we'll see. Anyway, nice to e-meet you all for now.
Deejai, just curious. have you gotten an alignment done since you got your springs on? Wondered if maybe you'd be having the same problems since you got the same springs put on by the same place with the same set up. hmmmm...peace!
Have you considered going paintless? Dent Doctor out at Kenny and Henderson took care of my car after that hail storm, I paid my $100 comp deductible, and my insurance company took care of the other 900 bucks or so I was quoted. My car was done in two hours, and it looked better than when I took it in (they fixed one small dent that was there before the hail storm). Just a thought.
i'm takin my car in for an estimate tomorrow...wish me luck. i tried counting the dents yesterday, i stopped at 31 and started crying. not really. anyways onto important matters...we should prolly stop talkin about settin a date and um....set one. i propose the first saturday in june. that would be june 7th. whatchall think?
