Pixel Wars!

Teamphotoshop.com has a great thing calle dpixel wars where people challenge one another to Photoshop challenges and such and people vote on which they liek best. I say lets get something going like that here...I snagged their rules for now then we can get into details from there...

Basics...

1. You MUST HAVE a minimum of 25 meaningful posts in the Teamphotoshop Forum to participate in a Pixel War.

2. No Judges. Everyone votes. If we see posts/votes from people with only 1 or 2 posts they won't count. We all know each other well enough to know if someone is cheating. Do not vote in a challenge that you are already participating in.

3. Cheat, you lose...

4. The pixel war will be different for everybody. You may get a graphic and use "only" that graphic and Photoshop's native filters. It may be an assigned theme. The element of surprise will keep you on your toes

CHALLENGE: Create a bottle label 3 inches by 3 inches.. using only photoshop (use the honor system). Name of the product will be "Lemon Drop". Use your imagination and have fun. I will donate my point to the winner...unless a more suitable prize can be thought of. I will host the images so shoot me a PM and I will give you my e-mail address and then I'll give you the link. Any questions comments of concerns just post here or PM me with. Hoping to get a thing going here.

DEADLINE for contest.....you have three days from the time you tell me you let me know your in. I wont post the pictures until I have all the entries in and complete. No entries past 5pm pacific time tomorrow.

80x80 px.. that's smaller than the size of your icon, you can't really fit much in there..

Heh heh. Voicefid is only one that has replied and submitted anything and it is pretty creative.....You photoshop masters gunna let him take this from you?

i like the idea, are we doing the "Lemon drop" thing? i might submit something if i can think of a good concept. whens the deadline?

Bye "tomorrow" I meant today...friday..haha

PM me if you want in that way I know for sure. I wont submit anything since I'm somewhat hosting the event. This 1st contest is really me tryign to get a feel for the interest in it and hoping to smooth out any kinks in the plan.

yeah, i screwed the pooch on this one. someone gave me the dumb idea to chop a civic hatchback, so ive been doing that like the whole weekend. couldnt think of a good concept for the label so i didnt even bother. bleh.

and i would also like to thank all you other chop masters, for not participating, otherwise, i would not've won, because that thing i spent like.. an hour on before i gave up. thank you thank you. now i finally got the points to do my custom title! wee!
