Modified Volk wheels?

I found a nice set of Volk GTN's for a good price. however, they are silver. and a little too plain for my taste. Do you think the GTNs would look good if I took them apart and had them painted with a satin black center with candy red lips?

I don't think I've ever seen a time attack style 2 piece Volk wheel... I think I might do this.

red lip = bleh. but that's my opinion. look good on the is300 though...
