rims chop

I was thinking about rota torques gold 17 inch to replace my current setup which is also 17 inch

if anyone else has any ideas on what rims might look good please feel free to chop them to my car as well. I would like something available in size 17 because I want to keep my relatively new tires.
thanks

Re: rims chop

Most of these work, I think there's one or two in here that won't fit our cars.

I like the sixth from the top, it's a set of SSR's like grey or something.

Re: rims chop

The white ones are TE37's. Great rim. I think black on white would be a refreshing change of pace. I've seen white wheels a lot in the past, then the black wheel fad came along. Get the TE37's. I know where you can get an 18 inch set. PM me if you wanna know.

#1,2&4 FTW IMO.

The white does look clean.

Re: rims chop

ya but it must be a pain to keep clean...
i think bronze is too close to black and gold is nice but it might be too flashy for my style.

Re: rims chop

i was thinking of buying just 2 of the white TE37 for one side of the car and keeping the other side black on black.
If i get bored of the black I'll just walk to the other side. Most people usually only look at one side of the car anyways.
what do you guys think?

Re: rims chop

has anyone ever done this or considered this? I mean this is basically like having 2 setups for the price of half of the volks - since we know they aint cheap anyways

Re: rims chop

Ha ha, that's funny stuff. I've seen people do that at car shows, like to show that they are a mad baller or something who knows. I think it would be funny to see that. I don't think it would be bad, just unusual. The only other time I've seen that is when some drifters use a second set in the back. Not side to side. I say do it and see if anyone notices. I think you would have 2 problems though, number one, finding two te37's for sale, most are sets, unless you order from a retailer that gets them stright from japan, then you might have to wait a long time for it. And then second thing maybe if you decided that you want to run all four volks, then it might be hard to find another two in the future! you could just get the rota knock offs, and get them in white, call it a day. H aha
