Graphicdude will become famous soon enough Graphicdude will become famous soon enough
IMO identity design can make or break a company, organization etc. If it isn't solid, the company and designer will look like hacks.

This website is a corner stone for civic owners and has quite a good rep. To identify it with something that could be construde as hoaky, cliche, or not though out would be an insult to it and everyone on the site. THere is a Fun factor involved with this site and it is not taken that seriously, i know this. But I take identity design personally becuase I do it everyday. I can't let this slide because it means to much to me. I want to see this site accosiated with a solid identity. Everyone here takes time and TLC in their Civics. They make them Clean, Sleek and have an understated agressiveness to them. This site's identity should have the same attitude.

So for "voting" purposes i suggest everyone to honestly think of what they are voting for. Will the logo you are voting for become a tired looking piece that you will eventually take off of your ride or will it be something that you will be proud to showoff. Also look at the versatility of the logo. Can it work in many situations as stated by PARDITTY. It has to work for everything that it will be branded on. It can't be a "one trick pony" Logo design is about more then that.

Why am I saying all of this, becuase I am a graphic designer. i went to college, i work with clients and I have done identity design. I am by no means "a master" but I know what works and what doesn't. But my opinions on whos is shitty and whos works is irrelevant. It is my opinion only. You, the voter must decide on what is the "SOLID" choice for this site.
