problem copying wedding photos onto dvd

I'm ready to rip my hair out. I just got married and my photographer told me to copy the DVD of proofs. Usually a simple thing to do but my hard drive crashed a week before the wedding. I had it replaced but ever since I can't burn DVDs by copying folders to the E drive. My duo stick won't even work in it. Is there another way to burn my wedding photos through dvd ? Re: problem copying wedding photos onto dvd

do you have a dvd burning software on the comp? something like nero, cd creator, etc? they usually have the option for dvd copy, so long as the software supports it. if not, windows should be able to do it, but i think something happened when your hd took a dump. maybe these might help. i think you need to reload the driver, your old one might be corrupted.

Re: problem copying wedding photos onto dvd

What platform you are using? Mac or Windows? Windows XP or Vista. If Vista, you could use the Windows DVD Maker, get very professional-looking DVDs. There are also many tutorials online to help you if you are not familiar with Windows DVD Maker. For XP, many photo to dvd software can do that. Just search google for your favorite one. I've used one called Wondershare Movie Story. Not bad, easily turning photos to slideshow and burn onto DVD.

anyway, google is your good friend.
