What new music are you guys listening to in your 7th gen's these days? What else have you picked up lately from the market?
For music:
I recently bought the new In Flames album. It sounds good, with a new vibe almost. Not new, but just picked up the cure greatest hits. Also a great album. I signed up for this UK website to download d&b mp3's in bulk and full length albums. I downloaded some SubFocus and an Andy C & Grooverider cd. Andy C also just came out with a new album.
For movies:
My friend let me borrow the victory at sea DVD as seen on TV. It's friggin awesome, lots of black and white footage captured by military personnel only. Some scenes look like a movie almost, but it is all un-edited violence. yay!
I tried to find Sweeny Todd in blu-ray but did not have any luck, so I bought it on regular dvd. The movie is a musical, but the songs are excellent, and the movie has good replay value.
Cloverfield is a neat movie as well, people told me it was like blair witch with the camera in First Person, but it's not like that movie at all. It's done well, kind of reminds me of an American Godzilla spin off.
For games:
I downloaded Project Reality for BF2. I'm addicted; I cannot stop playing this game. The reality of it all makes me content in destruction. The added weapons and huge maps leave tons of options for either team to wage war. Map rounds can last up to an hour and a half.
Devil may cry 4 - Fun but nothing much new here, aside from new story and people.
Music: (hiphop)
I downloaded the Sean Kingston album, track number 8 is fire
Other then that, havent found any good newish hiphop
Movies:
I saw "no reservations" with the GF (who was sick this weekend), its a great romantic movie to watch with ya wifey
I saw "at your door" ...that was a movie that was pretty crazy about how real it could get, but def not a full-star movie- worth downloading tho.
I saw "13 Tzameti" (2005) - Rent it... watch it with the guys, or by yourself, its a pretty dope movie
For anyone who likes Maynard's music, check out the group "Puscifer". Experimental music, but sounds real good. I bought the album vs downloading it. It Came with a funny airline instruction manual as a cd case, with proper airline etiquette puscifer style. The songs give deep bass too.
i've bought shitloads of movies since i got here, but the last few i finally got were:
das boot
mad max
city of lost children
empire of the sun
raising arizona
as for music, haven't gotten much. picked up peter nooten and michael brook's album from the 70's, don't recommend it because it's weird and i don't want people to know.
good job on getting project reality, btw!
i've wasted countless hours since v5... in fact, i'm finally getting the new patch on my new laptop so i can become trapped in the fun yet again.

Das boot is a great movie! I want it on blu-ray really bad. The acting is superb. Im gonna check out some of the other movies mentioned. If you do get the new version, I play on the battlearena.com server for Al-Basrah 90% of the time, and the other 10% playing on Texas Teamplayers server. My username is "evolknife" if ya see me, kill me!
well i got all the new patch finally, and it pretty much will not run on my machine because of the awesome coding errors they incorporated. i'll figure it out, but i only get about an hour of online "freedom" per week (aka when i get my lazy ass to public internet pools with my laptop). if i get it working, you'll see IIoS in there buddy
got 2 new albums: sausage (pre-primus primus)
a weird king crimson-like group called guapo
also got tenacious d: the complete master works which is a bunch of bleh stuff, but has their HBO specials and short films. it doesn't have the skit about infinite singing though... which is freakin hilarious.
coming soon is:
Toys
pulp fiction
more black metal
hot rod soundtrack
into the wild soundtrack
I've been grooving like crazy to the alicia keys unplugged album- the remixes are pretty hot. I'm about to listen to her album from 2007- "as I am". I heard you could get it from here
