I was thinking about applying for this and I meet all the requirements except for being a US citizen. My citizenship is Canadian but do you think it really matters? Here's how it's written on the website rules and regulations:

# All contestants must be United States citizens and be living in the United States.

I live in the USA but I'm not from here does that technically make me a non US citizen? I can't email them to ask, they'll just refer me to the FAQ, does anyone know for sure if they really care? It also says this on their website:

# All contestants must be 21 years or older at the time of application.

And one of the guys on Survivor now is 20 so I'm thinking there may be changes to some of the rules. There was a guy from Canada on the second season but he was born in the USA and was living in the USA at the time so he was fine. Any ideas?

As far as I know, you wouldn't qualify because you are not a US citizen. There's a girl here in town that made it to the last cut for Survivor contestants. My cousin is pretty good friends with her, I can get him to ask her if you'd like.

She said they ask for proof of residence, and some other documents to prove you're a citizen, or some crap like that. I got it second hand, so I don't know her exact wording. I say go for it and wait to see if they reject you.
