I am interested in a third generation '85 civic and i know only that it does not work and im asking is it worth trying to fix or replace motor or will it cost too much and i be better off just buyingAN OPERATING CIVIC. Price 500.00 initial may talk down.

500 for something that doesnt work? idk, you can buy a perfectly working civic for the same or a bit more (600-800)

depends on whats wrong. if u gota replace the motor then no. just a distributor cap then yes.
