Anyone get as sick of them giving out stats as much as I am...it gets a little ridiculous...."Ausmus is 4 for 10 against Garcia when the guy in section G, seat 5 drinks 5 beers, eats 3 hot dogs and goes to the pisser twice"..$hit.

did you miss the 2900ft elevation part? Those numbers look like good numbers.... With a little work on the 60' they could translate into high 14's at sea level....

i agree, those look like some sorry #s, but gotta factor in the elevation and wind against you. my thoughts: driving skills need definate work.
ya man... thats really not that impressive numbers. And these games are irritating. Heres want I want to know, 1. whp and torque. When you get max horsepower 2. How many pounds you are running 3. And the 1/4 mile run of a good driver. And I want them scanned, not typed. I think those are pretty reasonable expectations. Thanks.
Good job on the car, my guess is your running about 7 psi. You have about 180 whp. Those numbers at 2900 ft demonstrate a really stong motor. Timeslips are the worst way to determine horsepower.

mmmmmmm some people don't get the 2900 elevation part. and yes with some better driving skills it would be possible to hit 14's with no problem actually it can be easily achieved. =]
well, SOME of you people are stupid. I know that the car ran a 17.3 1/4 mile with a 2.4 60 ft., because there was a BONE STOCK 2002 lx at the track the same night as me. and as for my driving skills, that was my first race in over a year, and my second run had a 0.466 rxn time. And to answer the question about power and boost, i have 165 hp and 166 ft/lbs to the ground. And I am only running 6 psi. and yea, i have the stock exhaust, except for a 2 inch axel back.
I am going to run 9 psi on the dyno sometime soon. I am working on getting an ACT clutch (since their factory is about 1.5 miles from here), and then i will run it.
Somehow I don't think Civics are exactly geared right for drag racing. I realize we are trying to compare to stock here, but with the added power, the right drive ratio could take better advantage of the turbo. I also figure that the turbo is really going to show it's stuff at the upper RPM ranges. IMHO
Reaction time doesn't mean squat when we are looking at your E/T.
I know rxn. time doesnt mean anything when you are looking at your e.t. I posted that because you dipshits were trying to tear on my driving skills. I only ran 2 runs that night, and that had a faster e.t. but slower 60 ft, rxn, 100 ft. and 1/8 mile.

The turbo shows it's stuff at around 3000 rpm. It comes on hard at 3500. Look at the torque curve, it is pretty damn good for a honda. My CRX's curve didnt even look like that, and it made 50 more whp.
i thought you ran it at 5psi?? which means that it was less then 165whp... also take into account head winds and 2900ft elevation.... seriously with a lil more boost, some tuning, and at sea level, this car should be pulling 14's easy... that is still pretty quick for our d17 motors
