So we've been trying to get 450cc DSM injectors to fit in the stock fuel rail with no luck -- it's just not big enough. Now we're going to take a DSM fuel rail and hack it up to fit the Civic (and seal off one end for returnless).
My question is this: what is that brass-colored cylindrical piece that's mounted on the stock fuel rail? It looks like a little regulator or something, but we really don't know (and our regulator is in the tank). Anyone know what it is, and what it does? Cuz at this point we're just gonna leave it out.
Thanks guys.
