I had an upgraded ckutch in my 01 EX I use to have. I got a ACT stage 2 clutch from civicsuperstore.com for $150. And I installed it myself. So I couldn't give you a price on installing it. The install was a pain in the a$$ though. I went to honda and asked one of the techs there for a copy of the install of a clutch. And with the instructions it took 13 hours.
I don't have the car anymore. I wrecked it. The install was crazy. You have to take off the subframe, axels, every motor mount, but the driverside one. Along with the downpipe, starter, clutch cables, and other small things. It was a ehile ago when I did it and I can't remember everything that was involved. It really wasn't all that bad. It just took sometime. I had three friends helping me with it. None of us had ever don't a clutch either. If I had to do it again it would morethan likely only take about 8 hours. The clutch grabbed so hard. Its unreal. The first coupe of weeks I had it, the clutch wasn'r broken in and if I dumped the clutch it felt like it ripped the tranny out of the car.
I have a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch in my 01 EX. Almost no pedal pressure what so ever and it grabs like a b*tch. Clutch with throw out bearing cost about $300. It was installed by a Honda Tech for free.

how is the engagement, I want something that has a smooth feel like the stock clutch that just has an insane grab when you let it out. I think the act stage 2 is similar to what I would want. Oh and do they have matching flywheels for it?
