My friend says Greddy is working on a turbo kit for our cars. I havent been on here in a while, is this old news, or does this sound right? I dont know where he heardit from so dont ask...

greddy won't bother with our cars, cause of return fuel system problem, revhard has a turbo kit and some others do too. Your best bet is to custom build one

I just got the email from Revhard the other day. They canceled it because there isn't enough demand. They are offering the manifold for $600 though.

I emailed Greddy and they said not at this time. Look somewhere else for a turbo kit.

Look at SF and the Turbo Discounters, both kits have a great power gain and a great price range. None of them exceed 3500.00

Here is the final say from greddy:

I have been told by my friend who purchased a turbo timer from you that you are developing a turbo for 2001+ civics. I am a member of 7thgencivic.com and there are many questions about this rumor. Just to let you know, there is a huge demand from members of the site. Turbots are out for the car but most are waiting for a reliable company to produce one. Please let me know about this issue.

Thanks for your interest in GReddy Products. Currently we have not heard of any plans to make a turbo kit yet for the 2001-on Civic EX. Both the engine and engine controls for the latest model Civics are very different from previous models. A street legal kit may be very difficult to make, because of the location of the catalytic converter and the strict emissions level of this Honda. Perhaps there are other companies who may be making a off-road turbo kit, but so far we have not seen one available yet.

No, that's just the place doing it. I guess if you wanted they could replicate a kit after mine, but it won't be cheap. But I get a lifetime warranty.
