| The VTEC on the EX's produces an extra 2hp vs. the LX. I estimate this based off of hp numbers betwean the LX, EX, and HX. That's not worth a head swap IMO. Forced Induction will not be affected greatly since the air is "forced" in by the turbo. The size of the intake and exhaust ports don't matter too much. Same with the cam profile. The air is forced in, so the path it takes does not need to be as optimal as a naturally aspirated engine. You'll get a little more power, sure. Not enough to warrant spending the kind of cash it would take to make this happen though. I say bleh to 7th gen VTEC. |
