wanting to swap motors

im trying to upgrade the old 97 civic and im just looking to see what everyone thinks is the best bang for my buck on motors cause im kinda new to the whole motor swap biz... what i want in the end is a fully built motor with turbo to make it a sleeper can yall give me any advice?? b18! max powah. Don't forget that law requires you to swap an engine that is newer than your car... if you choose to follow the law, is up to you.

thanks do you know if there is a certain year that is better than others i have a 97' civic just to let you know im looking to just buy the motor and rebuilt it my self and turbo it so if there is a certain one or year just let me know

It depends a lot on how much your willing to spend. There are better models of the B18 motor but they cost more money. Generally, the newer, the more expensive as well.

Try that site out, you can learn a lot just by browsing through the engines. If you want the specs just go to google and search the engine code and specs. Find a couple you like and search for them here for peoples experiences, or ask for help

You can get a b18c1 from an intergra gsr or you can do a k20/k24 swap.
