Did you actually let your car ride on wood planks from NJ to NC ??? As soon as that guy showed up to pick up my car I would have sent him away. That is not safe. Look at the cab of the truck below where your car was sitting. He obviously dropped a car on his roof already. EEEEEkkkkkk

Re: My motor build.

Honestly....best way to do it IMO........it's done right, the first time, and done completely....tune,engine,oil, & coolant done! & done right for max power. You wont have have the issues the rest of us have had....If I could start over my car over I would do it just the way you did...good job man!

So now we get to see what that head will do with a valve job...wow man! That thing must flow some shit. You ever get it on the flow bench?

Re: My motor build.

Only bad thing I see....The Wastegate color....sell it and get a silver or something! I did my bov and wastegate black, both tial....the bov color is still great but the wastegate looks like a prune...it's an ugly ass purple/maroon thing. It really looks weird against my 2kblue jethot manifold. Only thing bad tho

BTW....I know they ran it on a flow bench....heh...look at the picture of it on the flow bench..doh!

lol, the guy told me about that. and honestly, didnt care, thats why i got insurance. the car got there in one piece with no problems. the driver called me to let me know where it stood the day before he dropped it off at the shop. so i wasnt worried.

1. competition clutch stage 5
2. yes that is a dezod race mani with a t61 turbo.
3. yes i am sleeving the block. i wouldnt have posted them, and if you look in the pic of the spare motor being built youll see them inside the block.
4.i am not sure how to install the oil cooler, im having a shop do the work. necessary yes and no, i just want to make sure i can keep the motor as cool as possible. just to be safe.
5. as for how much the build has cost me, 3k with machining, install, and tune, i think.

yeah, this has been a project in the making. i started with a dezod turbo kit nov 06. bought parts for all over 07, and here i am today trying to make this happen. i figure there is no way to do it but this way. i was boost before but ran into alot of problems, so i went back to stock, and started all over again.

lol you answered your own question about the flow bench. hope this bitch flows like crazy mang.

yeah the one thing that pisses me off is that i got a black wastegate, and a polished BOV. i like the black WG, id like to get a black BOV. but at this point, i want my car done. so maybe down the road ill pick up another one. but i hear ya man!

thank you for all the comments!!!
