what about the head gasket which one should i get ? there's one being sold at dezod "Cometic Mult-Layer Steel Head Gasket-1.7L D17A1, D17A2, D17A6 (76mm Bore) " but i dont know the mm . i know m engine is stock and i think its 75mm but they are selling 76mm and do i still nees the block guard ?
i would suggest just going with an OEM honda head gasket and ARP head studs. if you are gonna up the boost in the future it wont hurt to put a block guard but i think it would be unnecessary unless your going to build the block.
OEM headgaskets are fine. Get ARP headstuds for a d16. You don't need a blockguard. If I can run 430 whp on a d17 with no sleeves or gay ass fucking blockguard, so can you.
What you really need to focus on is what caused the blown headgasket in the first place...
yeah did you overheat or something? too much compression? broken fans? here what you need at the minimum...
-new head bolts (oem is fine or go with arp)
-new head gasket, header gasket, and IM gasket oem fine
-oil and coolant and oil filter
-optional is crank pulley, water pump, and timing belt (and cam gear if yours is bad or you want to put aem on.
check the old head out before putting it back! take it in to a machine shop and have them check for warpage and compression. also a good time to swap in a new cam.

Jobs wanted in boulder or louisville colorado.
PM me if you know companies that are hiring.
there is almost never a reason to replace the header gasket or intake mani gasket most dealerships won't even carry them cause there is never a need for them. unless you really screw up, those gasket's are pretty hard to destroy. and there is no reason to replace the crank pulley unless you break it.
you probably blew the had gasket due to bad engine managment or too much boost for stock head studs
not really overheat but I saw the needle at H twice soo I pulled over to the side. lately i keep seeing my coolant reservoir overflowing and i keep putting coolant in my rad. so I am assuming that this is my head gasket gone right? need some input
