i have a cherry picker......it was bought from my local harbor freight for like $150 it has done over 20 swaps on friends cars so it has worked great for me...
Nice, you make me jelous. I'm pondering the idea of fogetting this whole NA D17 idea and have been looking at K's for the past hour. *shakes head* ****... k20a would be nice.
I gotta hit up the search n see if u can keep all functions of the car like AC, PS, etc and if my gauge cluser is still going to work and what harnesses will have to be ripped out and replaced or modified.. Hmmm, I always did want the dc5r gauge cluster.
I know... its pretty ****ed up how much work its going to be. I'd love to do it... but shooooot, I dont have the money to do the R&D myself to figure out whats best. Sometimes its just best to roll with something that others have done. Esp when you dont have a second car to keep roll in forevers when you run into problems (I can barrow, but I cant have for a month or two), and dont have the extra funds to throw at problems to make them go away.

How long do you plan on this swap taking you?
haha lucky for me i got 2 other cars to roll on(07 tundra i just bought) and my 86 rolla.....
but yea this is a straight money pit for me right here. i maxed out 2 credit cards just on this project(i just finish build a k20a with teflon coated internals blueprinted and with 52mm twm itbs... and some other goodies plus this other k20 i just put in the civic) so yea im in the hole big time...lol
Just a straight swap would be enough for me at this point... then build its guts. I dont buy stuff i cant afford to pay for, aka on credit. Oh i dunno, we'll see. Where did u get ur k20a?

well i finally finish bleeding the clutch and the brake......s2k master cylinder(1" piston) + types brakes all around = firm pedal feel!!! cant wait to test out the brakes...lol
damn....lookin good.....keep up the good work.....where did you get it from
