I do believe he is using custom Dezod spec. Wiseco pistons and Crower rods. Probably ordered them from Dezod since he is sponsored by them.

Do we have another update coming on progress? I'm really amxious to see how this monster performs.

Im assuming you installed the crank first??? If not, why? I've always installed the crankshaft first then the pistons

Doesn't matter either way. I won't scratch up the journals with the open end of the rod this way. It also makes it easier to plastigauge the rod bearings and move things without having the crank bolted down.

Seems like almost every post I make that isn't praising someone, you are ready to jump all over me about. For real, get off my nuts.
Thanks for the compliment, tho.
Take your own advice and don't take this so seriously.
I commend you for doing some of the engine work your self and for posting your DIY unlike my FAQ there is a difference.
I only put all the information for an unsuspected newbie to find some direction and I didn't went into details.
That is way you assume that my involment was minimal.
You know what happens when you assume
Dude just get along and agre to dissagre sometimes without taking it so seriously.

With that said I have a question:

Seriously,
why not install sleeves? 350whp is going to be hot and hard for your stock block cylinder walls.
as you see I did mine with Darton sleeves and bore them out to 76mm.
I'm interested to see what difference does your Wiseco 75mm 8:01 and my Wiseco 76mm 9:01 pistons is you know smaller piston lower compression, bigger piston higher compression?

And by the way, that was me after installing my pistons and taking pictures at the same time, I work at my friends shop he is a local racing legend now injured and running his own shop he helps me and I rep his shop, I kidd you not, the right way, the first time, he specilazies in Nissan

With such high investment (time and money) I can't afford to screw it up even once that explains how I haven't had any engine failure for almost a year and a half now, so I radder have the guidance of the ppl that knows then learn the right way the first time in the proccess.

And chill man, is all good, I wish you well in your project and look forward to more updates.

This thread is great. I'll probably never do this type of overhaul/rebuild to my engine, but I get a great feel how the engine works.

Good work, when you fire it up, be sure to record it and post it. I can't wait to hear it, too.
