Just stopped by the shop to take some pictures. They already dropped the motor, tranny and subframe. The battery has been relocated to the trunk. They also mounted the Greddy EP intercooler.
Thanks to Henry from the shop he made the auto-wrecker take back the first incomplete K20 and received a very clean one with 14k miles on it with matching tranny.

Good luck with the whole Drive-by-wire throttle system.
I agree. g/l with that ... you'll probably need an 02-04 type S ecu (or an adapter harness), kpro, and 02-04 primary and secondary o2 sensors... along with an 02-04 type S throttle body and throttle cable =] ... I dunno ... let us know how it goes

Well good news about the K20Z1...it still uses a throttle cable. Henry checked the new 2005-2006 RSX Type S's at the Acura Dealer and saw that they still use the throttle cable.
Here's a pick of the assembly. Looks like it can take a cable for the throttle and the other for cruise control.
They are now installing the turbo on the motor. They are going to use some bolts from Nissan turbo cars because the Greddy bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold usually buzzes loose. Since the engine is out they are not going to use the Greddy oil-lines...but make some custom lines.
For now I have to use the 2005 ECU to technically pass when I take the car to the Ref here in Cali. Even though it may pass the sniffer they may not pass it because the ECU has to be the same year as the car or newer and the same year as the engine.
Will be using K-Pro in the future though.
I do have a few other items that will be going into this swap: Quaife LSD, ACT Lighten Flywheel, ACT 6 Pad Clutch w/ spring, ACT Pressure Plate and Type-R valve cover. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...34#post3830334
