Yea Henry sees some challenges ahead with the wiring. I was thinking about using a RSX Cluster like your ride or an S2000 cluster. I read on from another forum that the 05-06 Type-S tranny uses a different style speed sensor from the 02-04's. Henry also said the temp signal seems to have a multiplex signal. I'll keep you all updated on the wiring progress.

Hello everyone, I stopped by the shop again today and they now have the engine mounted. Now they are getting ready for the plumbing and wiring.

Here are a few pics I took while they were finishing up. The first pic Ray was bolting down the last mount on the passenger side. Second pic the engine is bolted in and the last pic is the hood almost all the way closed.

From reading from the past posts on swaps I notice people had to cut part of the hood to clear the power stearing pump reservoir. Did any of you have problems with the pump itself clearing? The pump itself is what keeping the hood from closing in the last pic.

Also it looks like I'm going to have to ditch the windshield washer tank since it in the way of the intercooler piping.

Thanks for your support and I'll keep updating.

Thanks TemjinX2. I'm located in the Sacramento Area. Motorsport Dynamics is doing the swap for me in Sacramento. They are usually very busy because they do very good work. During the summer time they are usually scheduled 4-8 weeks in advance, but it's worth it.

Yea but you beat me on the HID's. They look cool on your ride. Can't wait to get my car back to continue with the retro.

oh, btw you're gonna have problems with the 05 ecu, but i met some guy on k20a.org hes tweeking my 05 ecu/harness so it can work OH and my k20z1 is from an 2005 RSX type S, the 06 si engine is the k20z3 which is less HP than the z1, so far, the z1 has the most HP in the US except for the JDM k20, that one comes first, but yea just to let u know, its not gonna be that easy with the 05 ecu,so yea

Cool, thanks man! I was under the impression that the hood needed to be trimmed for the resivour. Hopefully I can catch the guys at the shop before they start trimming away. I rather get the EP electric power steering.

That sucks man about cops giving you a hard time about your HIDs.

Hondaluver, did you install an EP3 rack on your car? If you did, I would GREATLY appreciate any information you have on the wiring that's needed to make it work. And rimedin, if your boys at the shop do it, please, please, please have them take notes on the wiring. I will be converting to EPS soon and I need all the information on the wiring I can get.
