Problems with TSI turbo

I got the turbo everything is working good... but the problem is that my car is too rich... I could not set it... I am using SAFC, with Acura RSX type S injectors... maybe the problem is with the map unit or black box???... To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

your probably always going to be running a little rich with the SAFC. The SAFC II will give you a little better tunning options because you have 12pts instead of 6. Really any piggy back system your be runnig either rich or lean. I'm running a little rich with the VAFC II. You need an EMS to get a perfect tune. Thats what im saveing for so i can run the Stage 2 CAM as well.

Is your car running and is it drivable?
You need to be more specific.
I run rich and no probs.

how much boost are you ruinning. don't run to much over 7-8psi with the safc II. im running basically the same thing as you. t25bb on a custom kit, and RSX-S injectors and no problem. please be more specific on your problem. If it is to rich basci rule of thumb lean it out. it is simple with the SAFC II. the apexi untis make it lean and rich by changeing the timming so if you run to it means your timing is to advanced add to rich means your timing is retarted to much.

Map Unit (black Box) Tsi Turbo Kit Question

Hello again... I just have a question... Do I have to use the green wire that goes to the intake air temp. sensor? because in the black box unit it says NOT USE THE GREEN WIRE, but in the manual it says that it goes to the intake air temp sensor...

If it goes to that sensor, where I have to connect it? because there are two wires!

Thanks for your answers...
