perhaps this question has already been answerd but i have been unbale to locate the answer (56k takes two forevers to find anything) but my cel light came on and i think it went to limp mode. the car still runs hard but power seems to be down slightly and it runs a little off. i know it could be a number of things wrong but if anyone knows how to get the car out of limp mode without reseting the e-manage please pm me or post a link so that i can find a answer. thanks!

i dont think it is a 02 sensor because it was tuned on the dyno for two hours and never came on and i have driven it like 400 miles with no trouble until now.
more than likely your o2 sensor to start with but it can be a number of things. go to a local parts store and have it scanned to be for sure. DO you even have a A?F gauge or pyro gauge ?

it could be fopr the secondary o2. If you dont have a cat, it will come on after some driving. The secondary O2 can take a while before it notices that there is no cat.

To reset CEL:
Take off "+" cable from the battery for 10 mins or so, put back on and let it idle for 5 mins, then strar car again and drive around for 5 min. This will reset and "reprogramm" ecu.
um i want to say no b/c i only installed the fuel system, exhaust and turbo- i let the shop install the rest and unless the tsi kit came with it it is not on there ( other than the e-manage)
also if i pull the ecu fuse will it reset the e-manage?
If you dont have a wideband O2 guage you may F up your engine, dude. If you are talking about one of those narrowband guages you buy that goes back and forth you wont be able to really use that to tune with. Go to your local autozone or something and they will scan it for free. It could be almost anything as far as we know. Once you know what it is you can tell us and maybe someone here will know what you will need to do to fix it. Im pretty sure pulling the battery wont reset the emanage. If you have the support tool with your emanage you can just reload your maps even if it does reset it. Or if you have the instructions it should tell you in there.
