so i want to do the k20a2 in my 01 civic ex coupe and make the type-R the way it should have been in a civic coupe body cept i also am hoping for between 300-350 hp all motor but what im worried about is i hear the stock type-s brakes its tires loose in the first two gears so i was thinking i could use the 5 spd instead so my second gear is taller and it will alsot help me keep an illusion of stock which i would like to do as long as posible so basicly im asking does any one know if its been done and if it could stand up to that much power
thanks

I read somewhere the clutch line needed for the swap would not work with the civic master cylinder? Do I need a rsx clutch master cylinder? I already have the slave with hardline attatched.
im still using the civic master cylinder. i havent changed anything and i am sure everyone else that has done it still uses the original master cylinder. the only thing you need is the clutch lines from master to slave.. nothing more.
