Bro are you positive those Ignition timming harness is correct in your diagram? Mine is setup up different.

Reason I say this is because ifyou were to look at greddys install for the rsx , they connect
coil pack(igpls1) 1 to channel 1
coil pack(igpls2) 2 to channel 2
coil pack(igpls3) 3 to channel 3
coil pack(igpls4) 4 to channel 4
Yours is jumping from cylinder 1 to 4 to 2 to 3

I am positive. That's how greddy says to do it, and that's how I did it. As long as you follow the diagrams, you can't go wrong.

Great writeup. I will add this to the FAQ.

BTW, I used:

27 = cylinder 4, 28 = cylinder 3, 29 = cylinder 2, 30 = cylinder 1

*so.....channel 1 of emanage goes to cylinder 1, channel 2 to cylinder 3, channel 3 to cylinder 4, channel 4 to cylinder 2

*wire colors of the pins...pin 27 is brown, pin 28 is white/blue, pin 29 is blue/red, pin 30 is yellow/green. For the injectors you only use 4 of the 6 channels. The others you don't wire up.

Why would you want to wire it to jump cylinders when you wire the ignition hanress? Dosnt make since to me since the rsx is the same color code of our carson the ecm side, I looked in the Honda etm. Not trying to be rude, or come across arguing, but im just really curious why you wired it the way you did? Just would like an explanition.

I wired it based exactly off of Madwheel and Dezod's writeups.....I didn't jump cylinders....when I get a chance, I'll double check what I have against everything else, no time to check it now.

4-8-E will work for non vtec setups but as my post stated, it is the only setting found to work for vtec.

Quick question have you checked to see what your e-manage reads as far as RPM ? Mine is reading around 3000 RPM, any ideas?

Harnesses are not the same thing, and boost is controled via the wastegate/boost controler
