How many PSI of NOS should I run?

I just installed NOS on my car and I think its running lean. What is the appropriate PSI I should be running NOS at so I will run rich and not lean? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

what psi are you talking about? im not very familiar with nitrous. but the Nitrous Pressure is how much is left in the bottle, and to control your fuel mixture use an e-manage or v-afc or the likes. you cant change the fuel pressure on a 7thgen (with out a return fuel kit, or a digital fmu). maybe you should learn a little more about the d17a before you blow yours up.

Running lean is refering to your fuel.. if you are running lean you are running with too little fuel..

I suggest getting either a VAFC or SAFC or an Emanage.. So you can up your fuel a little.

I forgot in my last post.. I think he is asking what shot of nitrous.. not psi..

I'd go with a 35 shot on stock injectors and no fuel upgrades.

I'm talking about the PSI of NOS I should run to the engine. I know that if I run too much PSI of NOS I might get too much lag and detonate my engine.

PSI of NOS?

WTF are you smoking dude. Just because you heard Nos and Turbo in the Fast and the Furious doesnt mean you can throw the 2 together and make yourself seem like you know wtf you're talking about.

You don't run any psi of nitrous.. you are talking about shots of nitrous.. IE 35, 50, 75, 100, 150.. and so on.

And you won't lag.. you just will blow your engine up..

Quit while you are a head, gl00b

on bottle pressure, it should be at least at 900 psi for a good shoot, and as for the n2o and fuel jets, id go for .22 for fuel and .22 for nitrous(50 shot on the safe side/wet kit) and if you are running a dry kit, id go for .26 nitrous jet anymore will need fuel system upgrade......also its also a good idea to change your spark plugs to 1-2 levels cooler.....

i myself is running 75 shot for my car.......just incase check my car out in my link in the signature....

hope i helped....

I'd say at least 129.4 and you'll need two of the BIG bottles or else you'll most certainly lose to Dom's badass RX-7. Also, make sure that when you tune your Massive NOS shot that the floor of your car doesnt fall out or you definitely wont bang Mia.

900 PSI? I been reading and researching on here and most memebers are running 7-9 PSI on stock engine. How are you running 900 PSI of NOS? I was wondering is running 7-9 PSI on stock engine is safe enough or the poeple who are running this much NOS to the engine have it built up?
