i got my turbo kit and it was smokin like a bit*h so i had the turbo completely rebuilt, i ran the kit for like a week on 5psi with no fuel kit, im afraid i blew my head gasket because it quit smoking right after i put the new turbo on, and i rode it real hard that day, and the next day its smokin a white/blueish smoke all the time, and when i get on the gas the motor sounds like its got 200,00 miles on it, and its only got 30k. hahah, im assuming i blew the gasket cause i didnt run the fuel system, and it didnt help i was blowing oil into the motor when the turbo was leakin. (and i took it to the track, haha) let me know what you guys think, thanks.

turbo w/o adding fuel? ... you were probably running HELLA lean ... which = detonation
bluish white smoke is coolant. Welcome to blown headgasket land ... before/after your replace that, you may wanna replace your plugs and get some colder plugs
hm .. replacing a headgasket is pretty expensive and a pita. if you can do it yourself, it'll cost ~$40 (for the gasket) ... but if you don't, I don't recommend doing it by yourself especially since you probably don't know what you're doing
if you do end up doing it yourself, make sure your torque the head bolts correctly
blew a plug? ... probably detonated to hell ... make sure you get new plugs again
nah i can do it myslef, thats what im planning on doing. plus it will give me an excuse to install my AEM cam gear. i just dont have anytime to do it. im lookin for a stronger head gasket, any links?

Lots of pressure from the block can force the head up just a fraction of a millimeter and then you will get exhaust gasses and other nice stuff to leak through, which will damage the gasket seals ... hence, you've got a blown head gasket. headstuds (like from ARP) would help ...a head gasket's a head gasket ... there is no "stronger" headgasket (imo).
when u put your motor back into shape, make sure u do everything the RIGHT way this time and don't take any shortcuts ...
but dude, i never heard detonation when i was driving without the fuel kit? actually everything sounded ok, i rode like that for a week, and went to the track once, actually i take that back, it rode like shit without the fuel and i had the SF check valve, i bought the missing link and put the fuel system on and put the rebuilt turbo on and ran it balls to the wall yesterday, now i think the head gasket is gone, im doin a compression test sunday
