My turbo project after internals D17a1 LXmanual UPDATED PICS ON POST # 49
I'm documenting and taking pics of the project as I go along.
I won't speculate on numbers till is all done.
The job is being done at a shop in Brandon Fl Dynamic Speedlab
Work the head P&P valves, ARP bolts etc
Got my own custom intake build with a 75mm TB
Done all internals Pistons Sleeves rods etc
Equal lengh manifold being done with Stainelss 3046 8 gauge
This is the turbo that's going into my car sc 50
50 trim on the compresor side and 69 trim on the Turbine

I have a lot invested on this project and totaly taking all usefull information from this forum, hope is worth it.
Not looking at having a 9 second car just a good realiable ballsy civic.
Boosting 8-10psi and drive it daily.

looks like your doing everything the right way. why only 8 - 10 psi though? with that much invested in new guts you could probably run 15 psi easily with a good headgasket.

I take good care of my car so I'll go with that psi for awhile till the turbo brakes in and work out all the bugs, than I'll see with a good boost controller and some new axels.

Ibelive is a sc 69 as recomended by the shop.

Nice buildup. I dont think theres an sc 69. It could be an sc60. A sc34 or 44 would be good for your setup. What engine management are you going to be using?

So Hec, when I go down there to let them handle my business, they are gonna use an e-manage? Oh and btw I can't remember but did you say they will powdercoat for me?
