Heh - I'm having idle problems in general....I think its just the nature of OBDII. I try to play around with it in the emanage, and it idles fine when the car is running that time, but when I go to start it another time, it idles like crap until it "learns" again....not sure why - but I am trying to figure it out....
Your having idle issues? I am not.

Yes....I think its unrelated to the injectors. It might be a side effect in fact.
I am going to replace my O2 sensor and see if it cures it. Also, plan on checking my vacuum hoses as well....something just isn't right.
Its not the "learn procedure" - I've done that 2, 3 times already and the damn thing doesn't seem to stick....it has to be something else.
On a side note, its difficult to start when its hot too....This is why I'm going to try and change the O2 sensor - figure it may be crapped up due to running rich.....hope this fixes it.

WHOA!!! I have no probs on hot or cold starts. Try enabling the injector correction factor or try using the anti-stall function.

Well - I was checking things out with the emanage, and decided to try adjusting the timing. I took 2 degrees out at idle, since the MAP sensor is advancing it....So far the car seems to idle smoother than it did. Not sure about the starting issue yet. I'm sure I'll find out later. I plan on heading to the track tomorrow with the new clutch (I've put close to 500 miles on it...)! Wish me luck...

Let it rip Opto.

hey is our stock injector actually 240cc. I was told by a honda tech that they were 195cc or so. Compared to my friends 240cc injectors ours are very small. I have RC 440's in there now and with the emanage correction set at 195cc to 440cc it idles way better than 240cc. Anyone know for sure the stock size? Im going to the dyno tomorrow so I can adjust accordingly but It will probably be easier if the correction is right to start with.

I don't believe they are 195 - someone flow tested them, and they came out to around 220 or 240 or something like that. My wideband shows a 14.7 with my 240 to 360 correction factor (I have higher base fuel pressure - 49 PSI)...
Remember, the more you trim your MAP sensor the more crap you're going to have to do to get the car to run better (as in my case - hopefully the timing trick will work)....
yeah ok ill lean it out for idle but put the correction back to like 220 or so. Thanks opto. i have a boost rise fuel pressure regulator set at like 45lbs with zero vacuum. At idle its about 35. Im gunna mess with it more tomorrow 440s are kinda big to run off the boost. ill be running 12-14lbs of boost for my high setting so they will work fine for that. I dont care about anything else really, hehe
btw that correction factor hack seems to have worked for me so far. Has anyone got the MIL after doing that? My car idles fine but at part throttle it surges a lil bit.
Everything seems fine. I do have the regular "hack" symptoms though - the car doesn't idle correctly all the time, plus its hard to restart when its hot (you have to give it gas)....
I've read that folks on HT have similar issues when using the SAFC / VAFC for larger injectors....
I sure hope Hondata pulls through, as that would be a 100% ideal solution to all of these problems....
