I paid $75 for these used RSX injectors, and when I get them, the o-rings have sand on them, and one of the ends where the fuel sprays out is cracked, about to fall off!

Can I still use them, if I clean them & snap off this broken piece?

So how are those rsx injectors better than stock?

And how safe is it too use another route than a returnless fuel system made by SLP..

Like what are the other optinos

Cause i hear SLP's kit will be REALLY expensive....all top of the line parts...eh too much for me

This kit will not be comprised of Carquest parts. Each part will be hand-picked from the best of the best.
What size injectors do u think u will be using?

I was going to put those RSX ones in my car today, and test the E-manage injector size option, but what exactly needs to be modified on those mounting studs. Do they have to be removed & larger ones installed? If so, hou much larger, and do you know what type of stud to use (side, dimentions, thread, etc.)

I have time to do this today, if I can find out what exactly needs to be modified.

Thanks

Installed RSX Injectors - Replace Stud with Bolt

I installed my RSX Injectors today;

Had to replace the fual rail stud with a bolt instead, I used a Metric (I am Canadian!) bolt 30mm, M6x10, and 2 washers because the RSX injectors are about 0.75In longer that the Stock Civic ones.

It was easy, and I set my E-manage at 240 Old & 340 New Injectors, what did other people use. This worked great, but I didn't try any other settings.

Some Pics:

Done & Done.

Anybody having problems with these RSX injectors like me? My car ocassionally misses the idle point when the RPM's fall back (clutch in) and goes off! And also sometimes bogs down if I give it too much gas and not enough clutch engagement on launches.

^^Mine has that similar problem, low rpms (below 2K) when im idleing or in 1st and am at a roll it will kind of sputter, but throughout the rpm range isnt bad, get emanage, it'll clear it up, for my starts id rev up to 1500 with the clutch and slowly release so it wasnt as bad, once the rpms picked up

Heh - I'm having idle problems in general....I think its just the nature of OBDII. I try to play around with it in the emanage, and it idles fine when the car is running that time, but when I go to start it another time, it idles like crap until it "learns" again....not sure why - but I am trying to figure it out....
