so what is it ?? is leons tranny slipping cuz he didnt have the tranny oil cooler at first? he told me he beat an rsx and some other cars...may b all that stress and heat to the tranny caused to start to slip... i really want to turbo my shit up but i need to kno if its safe and exactly what i need to upgrade so these problems wont happen....
well it depens alot on how you thrash your tranny, and yes i woudl cause slip if you didnt use a tranny cooler from the start, excess heat or heat related issues are the most common problems for an auto tranny....
So you can go buy the biggest tranny cooler, you whant to buy...

First I would like to say that nothing in this world is 100% safe. That being said, if you have a A/T I would steer clear of the TSI kit. I just had mine pulled off because I was having a lot of problems with everything. What would make it safer on your tranny is to get an over haul kit for your clutches and seals and a tranny cooler. Also, I would not run more than 8 pounds unless you build your bottom end and get a tranny overhaul from level 10. You also know that even the new parts are going to wear out at some point and you will have to rebuild the whole thing anyway.
our tannys can take 9psi ons tock than slippage is noticible. Daily driven the best varient is 5psi.
Dezod is running his to perfect boost levels. This has been discussed so many times its rediculis.
Exactly. 5 PSI daily driven, and don't romp on it at every light, the car is so smooth with a good tranny cooler. As a matter of fact, I have an excellent tranny cooler for sale if anyone needs one! It's the best one $$ can buy!
