i agree with you i think the auto transmission of a 01-05 are the same

well according the the honda parts guide they are the same from my research if anyone else can chime in on this then its a go and get the TCI kit to help you poor autos out. I know I enjoyed mine under boost and miss the sound of the BOV but I can't help but love my 6 speed rsx-s more.

the 01-03 are the same I replaced my warped tranny from a 03. same bolt up etc.. as for the kit I guess you might have to wait or see if its the same . As far as I know so far its all the same parts, if not I know the discs are the same atleast.

meseetree is on a distinguished road
they are the same trannies, all of them

I bolted a 2004 tranny up to my 2002,

what I did noticed different however is the 01-02(possibly 03's too) have trouble and shift hard.

the 04 tranny shifts a lot better and more smooth, all of the parts are the same, or should be the same for the 01-05 tranny.

wow...nobody has been posting in here since january. well just to keep this thread going...Yea im gonna be boosting my civic. hopefully by december or january time. and yes i have an auto. it sucks. spent a lot of money on bolt ons and it still sucks. but ive been reading through this thread and that whitecastle dude really knows his stuff. i guess im gonna talk to dezod about a nice turbo kit for me and a trans. cooler. and change out my trans. fluid.

if anyone think i should go for a different route then please respond back.
