Installed the profec b spec 2

It was an easy install took just over an hour because we took the time to route the wiring and vacuum line through the firewall by the glove box. The reason why I chose it was because it displays PSI in real time and it was considerably cheaper than the Apexi AVC-R. I am still learning the settings so if anyone has already figured it out please reply. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

I derived my own settings from the sample settings in the manual.

LOW:

SET: 12%
GAIN: 10%
SET GAIN (START BOOST): 3.75 psi
WARNING: 6 psi
LIMITER: 99% (If it hits the warning it will return to stock boost)

I still have a little boost leak that needs to be fixed but I am going to try these out as soon as I fix it. I'll post what I find out.

I hate this boost controller. I've had it since I've had the turbo and I still can't set it accurately.

Ok.

Is it spiking or is the boost falling off? If it is spiking then you want to turn the gain down 2%. If boost is falling off then turn the gain up 2%.

Also, make sure your set gain is close to your start boost setting. I know one is a percentage and one is PSI/KPA but you will need to determine the total output of your turbo to correctly set these settings.

If total output is 20 psi then 4 psi for set gain would be 20% for start boost.
