how much of a help is the alcohol injection? i know it helps prevent detonation and lets you up the boost but how much more boost can i run (with stock internals) with the AI? if it makes a noticable difference, put me down for one!
Obviously you can run out but im wondering what happens when you run out and you aren't aware of it? Do you start detonating to hell or is there a fail safe?
yes, you can run out of alcohol. And the car will start detonating if you hit the high boost. That is why you have to be aware of where your alcohol level is.
Also, the K20 turbo project will be completed soon. That car is going to SEMA next week.

question.......here it says that the equal length manifold is $150 extra and in another thread it says that it comes with the base kit of $2900......so, does it come with the base kit or do we have to pay extra for the equal length manifold ?
is the turbo a safe and reliable kit? im serious about getting it, as long as i kno my engine will last me. ill proly have to replace my clutch too. would i need a turbo timer?
keep it at a low and safe boost level 4-6psi and keep up with maintence and your engine will last longer than you own the car most likely. you dont "need" a turbo timer but it will help prolong the life of the turbo so its a good idea to have one.
13.38 @ 109.13 ... 2.412 60'.. i need tires!....
