Do research on the other turbo kits as well before you buy. You may find that the TD kit is the one best suited for you, but there are also 2 other kits available right now.

way to keep the flaming to a mild thunderstorm catalyst, hehe

a lot of these kits are brand new, hardly anyone has had them yet, the best well known kit around here is SF, thanks to Catalyst and SFpower answering everyones questions and keeping everyone informed. thats why i'm going with them, but just keep saving, by the time your ready to buy, more people will have kits and most important dyno #'s.
The SF kit really is superior. I was going to get the TD kit, but everyone here said it was crap, and I read a thread about this guy who bought it and nothing fit and it was crap, so I decided on the SF kit. So should you. Theres a really long thread about it that covers everything, search for "Stafford Fabrications" or "turbo kit", it has like 376 replies.

what a nice guy...he doesn't just flat out say my kit is better he mentions all kits.
But me im not like that. HIS SF KIT IS BETTER THAN ALL! (my opinion)
Catalyst...i think i just creamed my pants when I heard that. Estimate on how much it'll be? HP gains? As if the SF kit wasnt already the best thing on the market...

from what i understand.. it's an equal length manifold and some other goodies... you might have to get new intercooler piping to fit the new manifold and i think theres also a crossflow intercooler included with catalysts special edition... i might be wrong.. correct me if i'm wrong mike... =)
as far as installing a turbo kit on a factory engine, i would strongly recommend the SF Turbo Kit.... the base kit puts out a lot of power by itself... if you feel you want to build your engine, i would say to get the upgraded turbo, alcohol injection, and bigger downpipe... it's all about what you want out of your car in the end...
Well, the normal stage II uses the same base kit intercooler and piping, but it uses a stainless equal length manifold, upgraded turbo, alcohol injection, DHracing cylinder head, and a block guard.
This kit is $4600 + shipping
Now my special edition kit uses a traditional crossflow intercooler, with aluminum intercooler piping. That is the only main difference.
I dont know whp gains, but i know that the normal stage II kit makes awesome power.
