wow i cant believe how biased ppl are. I mean newbs with 4 posts are raging maxrev??? considering i have an installed running kit that is perfect how can anyone hold this 1 incident against them. i mean if SF's fuel pump broke and someone blew their engine...would you blame SF forever? No, of course not

OK... i read this whole thread. To me, this thread shows nothing about how SFs kit is great. all it does is bash maxrevs kit. i would also like to know how andys new SF kit has worked so far? and how is zinks kit working?

i think maxrev just sent andy an AUTO kit, instead of manuel. someone in shipping fuked up. thats what this whole fuss is over i think

See Zinky's post above yours...it answers your questions...

People with SF's kits have had problems and SF has helped them work out the kinks. Andyman just decided to be immature about what happened and somewhat hypocritical considering he had problems with his SF kit for a long period of time and never really bashed SF.

Truth be told, SFPower probably did more R&D than MaxRev. As of today, both kits have been out for a period of time. Each kit should be a functional kit. However, each individual may run into problems--whether thats functional problems or getting your parts on time. Aftermarket turbo kits will have issues...espcially if the company who designed the kit doesn't do your install...and even then, there are many things that can just go wrong. Its a chance you take when you decide to go the turbo route.

It seems people have been more understanding to SF and less understanding to Max Rev. Its probably because the people at SF have posted here and many 7thgeners consider them "friends". But just because someone is your friend doesn't mean they should get any more or less slack than someone you don't really know if they are making a profit off you.
