Basics for a K20a1 Swap?
Just wondering what basics I need if I want to swap out right away. I have a good idea of what parts I need.
Just need to know if I need to change anything else from stock such as exhaust, suspension, etc.

oh ok i hope you have 93 octane around where you live cause it needs a good high octane fuel to run well. and about everything you need well its a pretty long. im sure if you search the site somebody has most likely had the same question as you so there. i just searched the site and i found this link so hopefully this helps you.

and suspension if you already have your car lowered the k20 weighs more than a d series so you might have to get your spring rates changed. and a new exhaust would be a good idea.

you should post what yr civic you have. Anything older then a 7th gen civic, requires a lot of work to drop a K in.

Lol sorry, but I am posting in the 7th gen section. 2002 Coupe EX.
Right now I'm working on finding some coilovers with adjustable dampers, headers, and an exhaust. Trying to find a decent site to buy the parts. A lot of websites from the "good websites" thread is outdated.
