Rep Power: 0 going turbo...need help though
i just ordered the TSi t25BB extreme turbo kit. i was wondering what else im gonna need for my car now that im going turbo. anything at all. let me know.
- here is the link to the kit and shows what it comes with.
Turbo Specialities
-its also coming with this fuel system option.
Turbo Specialities
does this mean i wont need to get the rsx-s injectors. im not really sure what this is. if anyone can fill me in that would be great.
like will i need an ecu with this. and what else would be good for me to get. or need to get.
thanks for any help u can give me.

Rep Power: 257 Dezod just told you look into another one such as emanage or pcs and rsx in jectors. You can't boost more than 6psi safely with the TSI system. It works though PM 03-acura-el I think thats his name. He's running the TSI kit and fuel system and has had much success. Good luck

Rep Power: 0 thanks, i will definetly try to talk to that guy. i dont plan on going any higher boost then 6 cause thats how it comes. my car is being built up for show. so i really dont need to try and run a higher psi. but i gues it wont hurt if i wanna get the ecu since it wont cost anything. thanks for the help. but besides ecu and injectors. is there anything else. ive hear that since i have an automatic. i might need a transmission cooler. and someone else said ti would be good to get an oil cooler. will these be absolutely necessary since im running low boost or should i be good.

Rep Power: 0 if i could i would. but Turbo specialties is giving us a really good price for it since we are putting their name on the car, as well as many other companies.

Rep Power: 256 It depends what you're looking for.
- For big WHP I'd choose Dezod kit with AEM Ems.
- For for faster take offs and a lot of low end TQ, TSI is the kit.
TSI fuel system is very easy to use and it is reliable. I've never heard about anyone blowing and engine with TSI kit running TSI fuel system. TSI is a very good beginner's kit. It retains A/C and P/S and no need to move/remove battery or washer bottle.
As far as TSI fuel system vs. Emanage, then I can say that emange is more advanced unit that requires laptop and tunning with a specialist (for me), where TSI unit is easy to use as claculator and easily adjustable and programmable.
I'd say you'll get a little more HP with emange 5-10 (?), but with turbo as small as t25, I'd concider emange as an overkill.
At 8-9psi I have about 175whp/175tq.

Rep Power: 257 if you're getting it for free, i don't think the TSI kit is a bad way to go. if you're looking for upping the boost and more power in the future though, you may as well throw a bit of your own money at it and splurge on the Dezod kit.
