funny story: "AR" meets "mycivic" on the streets in chicago.
this is a funny ass story.
i was on my bike traveling down roosevelt coming up to halsted (going east). i see this green coupe on my side of the street pulled over infront of two UIC police squad cars. i scope it out 'cause i see his nice rims and smoke colored graphics, oh and did i mention the venom decal? after further investigation i realize he's been pulled over for a ticket. of course. by this time i pass by, but then i think about the forum and turn around to talk to him... as if the police double parked behind him didn't even exist. here's what said to eachother:
me: hey nice ride, you ever been on 7th-gen-civic-.com?
him: yeah but i don't go on much.
me: cool what's your name on the forum?
him: mycivic.
me: cool you go to UIC?
him: yeah i'm a 4th year.
me: me too, but i'm a sophmore. i have a silver sedan.... stock.
him: nice
me: cool. what'd they stop you for?
him: they stopped me 'cause they said i ran a red, but it was actually still yellow.
me: damn, sucks. look man nice ride, try and visit the forum more often.
him: alright
and ride off on my dinky ass bike and run back up to my room. thought it was pretty damn funny.... two civic owner convesating while the 5.0 sitting right there. hahahhahaa i can't whipe the childish grin off my face. just thought i'd share my run is with mycivic from the boards to the streets.
