I am tired of locking piracy threads in this forum. That means asking for CD keys, crackers, warez, etc. I know all of you know the forum policy so stop doing it. I am now writing down names of people persist in making threads and after numerous offenses further action will be taken.

cd keys were companies put a code and give you the code ONLY when you purchase their product allowing you to unlock the file and use it but some people these are making cd generators making it more easier for people to pirate software (i bet 90% of counter-strike gamers didnt even buy that copy of the game) and it becomes a hassle for the compnaies which higer game prices which makes us paying people pay more fore a game to buy it
ur kidding right? CS is one of the most successful games at stoping piracy.... ask ANY CS player for his CD key, you will get a stupid look and a "no dumbass, stfu!" There are CD keygens for CS, but once WON gets ahold of them, they can ban all those CD keys that use the generator code. HL's use of online key checking, has revolutionized the FPS multiplayer world in terms of piracy. and my god, another paragraph without using any punctuation....
then why is it that everyone i know has never bought a game in there life? yeah i know that cd key generators most dont work. but some do, like me i have used like 3 cd keys from counter-strike generators, and they work great.
The HL key generators never work, end of story. WON has a database of valid CD keys, and if your randomly generated CD isnt on that database, you dont play. You can play single player, but anything multiplayer has to go through WON, and that aint happening with those CD keys. Plz email me that generator, i would love to actually see a working one. In my 5 years of playing HL/CS, ive yet to see one work in multiplayer. Please enlighten me.
most of the people I know that haven't bought the game steal the CD key from the Lan center they go to but it won't work if the person is at the LAN center using the computer at the time

Which is pretty much all the time since those LAN centers are open until the wee hours of the morning.
