they do work, key from key gens are all random. if you randomly generate one that is the same as the database from won then you could play, of course, what you just did is blocked a legit player from playing online.

I bought lots of games before. Just think about this. If noone buys the latest games, they will stop being developed and you won't have anything to steal. But yeah, piracy can get this site in trouble.
Are you aware that it is completely legal to use CD keys, and crackers provided you own the original? Thus is is illogical to lock those threads. You can find more information regarding LEGAL game copying/backup procedures at www.gamecopyworld.com a completely free but ad invested website.

i believe many do not understand the meaning of piracy
asking where you can get a free trial version of somethng is not piracy
asking how to get a free full version of something (that aint free) is piracy
I have no freaking idea what the hell anyone here is talking about. But then again, I'm not a computer gamer. I play PS2 occasionally, I don't know why cheats would be a problem though...????
