Question GeForce or Radeon?
Well...I f'ed up my video card for awhile now (probably due to clocking). But was wondering which card is best for gaming: GeForce or Radeon? My uncle is a comp freak and suggest me to get a Radeon, but my friend said to get a GeForce cuz it's more for gaming and Radeons are more for like graphics (video production, etc.) Any suggestions? I highly recommend you to get AIW Radeon 9700 Pro ...

9700 Pro is very nice, but very pricey. The GF4's perform very well and are relatively cheap now. The cost doesnt justify the performance IHO and would go with the GF4 Ti series.

lol I just got a new one myself

GF4 6100
let's just say it's badass(twin processors), but it cost me $550
and yes, it's custom - don't expect to find one online or at any store

Radeon all the way. GeForce is great to but I prefer radeon.

maximum PC magazine did benchmarks for the two cards and they were torn between the two. Their main complaint was the cost.

heres the bottom line.

cheap to decent priced cards for performance = geforce
most expensive for performance = radeon

top of the line geforce is no match for top of the line radeon (if money isnt an issue)..but all other cards, geforce is better.

Depends on what you need. If you want speed, I'd go with GeForce. But for graphic quality, Radeon.
