anyone here have/using the program called GAIM? it allows you to use several chat programs at once and some other features. just wondering if anyone had any problems with it and if it is worth downloading. i hate having to go on to aim, sign off, log onto yahoo messanger, sign off etc etc.
p.s. i searched, only one post back in december and it wasnt all that great. also, i like the search icon. flashed red, stands out, gets you to go there. i like it!

GAIM is usually what comes with Linux if you use a GUI on top of your Linux install. Trillian is usually what people use on Windows. In fact, I didn't even know GAIM was for Windows.
Yeah apparently just recently they released a version for Windows. For linux is think its good but Trillian I think has been doing that idea longer and their software seems a little more solid to me.
On the other hand, I have only been using Trillian for about 2 weeks now ;P
