I just bought a platinum Game Boy Advance SP from Best Buy. I figured everywhere would be sold out of them but they had plenty of copies. I am very pleased with it and the light works great. I would definately recomend it.

OH GOOD!!! Lemme ask you something, on the top of the screen, do you have a little white line where the screen cuts off? Its not actually ON the screen, its above, almost like the screen is not centered? Im gonna take it back but I dont know whether every GBA SP has it. Thanks!
I think what you mean is the little white line when the system is on. If thats what you mean yea i have it too but its just kinda of a glare and if you tilt it just a little bit it disapears. If im talking about the wrong thing just let me know.
I will post pics in a minute of it...yeah it plays all gameboy games ever made and is in a small package with a backlight SO YOU CAN FINALLY SEE WHAT YOU ARE PLAYING. Its really cool. If you want one go to BuyRite Video Games and you can get it for $99.99 with a free Wario Land 4 game cartridge. I have never ordered from them but they appear to be a very large seller of any video related product you want.
Yep they play all the old game boy games and all of the new ones (i cant believe how small the new game are). And as for the black one it is an import from japan. The u.s. only gets the platinum and cobalt bue for now.
I know pokemon is ghey... but the gameboy pokemon games are addicting as hell.. My boss was playin it and i tried it and got hooked. Now i gotta go out and buy a GB to play it.
Originally posted by civicvtec1ps yea thats cool but is it comfortable to play it? because that looks little boxii ^^
Yeah I thought about that too and its perfectly comfortable to play with as long as you arent using the L and R buttons. Then its defentitly not as good as the old one, but still its not that bad at all.
Im thinking aboutt getting one. I recently sold my Gameboy advance with one game, and rechargeable batteries for $70. Do you think the price is going to go down anytime soon?
Possibly if you wait a few months...I have seen specials promoting a GBA SP with a free game for $100. Nintendo is having some trouble selling a lot of there primary products so I think they will milk the GBA SP for $100 for at least another month. Once the initial crop of people buy them they might be reduced. However, since they still sell regular GBA's for $70, they would first have to stop making those and switch everything to SP. IMO I wouldnt count on them dropping for a long time, considering GBA is what is really holding Nintendo sales right now.
