This thing is sick. I got a...
2.53 GHz P4
256 MB of Ram (will prob upgrade to 512 soon)
64 MB nvidia Ti 4200
DVD and a CD-R/RW
80 GB hd
Soundblaster Live Sound Card
and my prized possession, a 15" Digital FPD
I will never go back to CRT again. This screen is absolutely amazing.

thats sweet, the only thing i would have suggested was to have paid the extra $40 for the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card, bc it makes a hella difference, but still a sweet computer nonetheless, enjoy!

just went to the store and picked up another 256 mb of ram. that should be plenty. also, I didn't get the turtle beach sound card because the website said it was only recommended for 4 or more speakers and I'm only running 2. oh well. Hopefully when I hook the computer up to my stereo it will sound alright. I think the 128 mb video card was another $100 and I was already waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy over budget. Initially, I wanted to stay under a grand. (read below)
the grand total was $1800 with tax and shipping but I got $200 off of that for being a student. oh yeah, I also got the 3 year in home warranty because I don't wanna have to worry about it breaking down on me and getting screwed. (I'm on the quarter system so classes are gonna move fast)
That's cute. . It's about what my laptop has in it. My PC has 2 GHTZ Athalon . . 512 RAM. . Geforce 3 titanium 500 Sound blaster Live, 5.1, GAmer Mp3. Klipsch 4.2 Promedia speakers, 19 inch Sony Wega Flat Screen . . hehe. Just bought mine too. . just had to brag. .keep it real though..
I almost got the 19" flat tube but that b!tch is huge and very heavy. my desk at the dorm is only like 18" deep so I needed something thin so I would still have room to do my homework on it. It sounds like you got a nice system.
