yes i have an old computer, and running xp, but lately im having serious issues listening to simple mp3 songs. i have a ton of programs disabled and generally everything runs as fast as it can, but the music is constantly skipping and stopping every 10-20 secs or so sometimes more. it sounds like a scratched cd but i cant figure out whats causing it. i tried vlc media player, winamp, and win media but they are all doing it and i cant figure it out why this just started. the only thing i thought would be the cpu being overpowered but it was fine before and now it skips even with no other programs open. really annoying, anyone have some ideas?
