Do you guys know a site, not ITunes, that I can send my non-computer-savvy buddy to?

He wants to download a few songs, put them on a CD, and put them in his car. He basically wants a place where he can go, give them 99 cents (or whatever) and download a song.


I see that Real Player & Napster have these "rental" type places. Go and download a million songs. But when you quit paying the rental fee, they can't be used. That's NOT what I'm wanting.

Just because you ignore the fact that it's illegal doesn't make it legal. It just "limits" the liability of the creators of the program / community.

Again, I'm looking for something LEGITIMATE in order to download music.


I've logged into RealPlayer and they only sell songs in THEIR format. Similar to ITunes.

WHERE can I get MP3 downloads and purchase them legally???????? arrrrgggghhh

WalMart's site has 88 cent songs you can purchase. I use one of their re-loadable gift cards and it works great.

I'll bring this back. God has decided that killing kittens every time someone illegally downloads music just wasn't getting through to people. He's moved on to puppies.
