When DiabloII original came out I was hooked on that game. I had the multiple battlenet accounts, lots of mules, high level characters in each category... then moved on to HC bn characters. Had a high level zon, barb and sorc in HC. Once so much was accomplished I just got bored and gave it up.
HC was the way to go.. always 2 computers logged in together allied, with loot on the second PC. die, and reclaim your stuff.
I got LOD when it came out, and never got into too much. I had played HC for so long on classic D2, I couldn't accept the HUGE changes that they made to the game. They basically flipped the whole D2 world on it's head, and nothing from the original meant crap in LOD.
So anyway... I still have it, just don't play it.
After D2 HC I spent time with Neverwinter Nights... if you've never played that game, and you enjoyed D2 you may want to try it. It's old too, so you can probably get it for next to nothing nowdays.
i used to play LOD....my zealot pwned everything in PvP, i started playing again cause i herd that a new patch came out where you fight all 3 bosses, made a smiter, beat that, and i beat them countless times over and over again, easily, then i was like eh...its not fun no more with all the dupes

^i played a bit not too long ago. did the torch quest a few times and lost interest. of course, this time around, i can't sell my godly crap on ebay because they banned virtual items... dammit. i have some hella godly stuff if anyone is interested
